By using Maripart ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Maripart is an online marketplace where users can list, browse, and purchase marine equipment, boats, and related items. We provide the platform — all transactions are between buyers and sellers directly.

2. Accounts

  • You must sign in with a Google or Facebook account to post listings or contact sellers.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Listings

  • Listings must be for real items that you own or are authorized to sell.
  • Descriptions, photos, and specifications must be accurate and not misleading.
  • You may not list prohibited items including stolen goods, counterfeit products, weapons, hazardous materials, or anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • We reserve the right to remove any listing without notice.

4. Transactions

Maripart is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listed items. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for the terms of their transactions, including payment, shipping, and returns.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
  • Spam, scrape, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission.
  • Circumvent security measures or interfere with the Service's operation.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of the content you post (text, photos, etc.).
  • By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your listings on the Service.
  • This license ends when you delete your content or account.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, code, logos, and branding are owned by Maripart and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of listings posted by users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maripart and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maripart and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your listings, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.
