Description

High-resolution masthead wind sensor for racing and performance sailing, providing wind angle accuracy better than 1 degree and wind speed linearity better than 1 percent. The low-friction bearings detect wind from under 2 knots with 0.1-degree angular resolution. Reports apparent wind speed and angle over the NKE Topline bus at high frequency for responsive true wind calculations and autopilot performance.
